Schedule of Events

10:00 a.m. All baking entries must be in Heritage Hall
10:00 a.m. Cutting oats with reaper/binder and horse team
10:30 a.m. Steam engine demo
11:00 a.m. Hand scything demo; hand tying and stooking
11:00 a.m. Name That Tool contest begins
11:20 a.m. Winners of baking competition announced. Prizes!
11:30 a.m. Saw that log! hand sawing competition/demo
12:00 noon: Shingle mill demo
12:00 noon: Community Challenge begins
     (four teams compete in hay bale toss, horse shoe throw,
     longest apple peel, raw egg carry)
1:00 p.m.  Face painting
1:00 p.m.  Knowledge Hunt (kids scramble to get farm facts)
1:30 p.m. Balloon artist on duty; every child gets a balloon animal
1:30 p.m. Apple bobbing game (prizes!)
1:30 p.m. Threshing machine separates oats from straw
2:00 p.m. Hand scything demo; hand tying and stooking
2:00 p.m. Fish pond (age 10 and under; every child wins!)
2:30 p.m. Steam engine demo
2:30 p.m. Antique hay press demo
3:00 p.m. Name That Tool winner announced. Prizes!

All day:

Cookhouse: hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, corn on the cob
Petting zoo: chickens, pigeons, bunnies, cow & calf, oxen, and more
Antique tractor display
Antique tools and equipment on display
Wagon rides
Candy scrambles
Live Music

NOTES:
Sawler Building is filled with plows and other antiques farm machines

No admission is being charged, and everything is free except for the food.
A freewill donation would be much appreciated.
